The Saturdays ‘Not Disappointed’ by Chart Position

The Saturdays missed out on getting their first hit single at the weekend with their song Missing You, but the girls say they are not bitter. The track – the latest single from the band’s News mini-album ( out this week ) – entered the charts at number three, behind Flo Rida’s Club Can’t Handle Me and Eminem and Rihanna’s Love the way that you Lie. On gaining another top five, Una Healy related: “It was number one in the midweeks up till Fri. and then… We prepare ourselves for the worst so we were not truly disenchanted it was just Flo Rida stepped in again and pipped us at the post again.
“Her Sats band pal Rochelle Wiseman joked : “It would not stun me if [he announced to his record label], ‘You know what fellows, let’s do a compilation of [my] hits and release an album solely to get those girls once more! ‘ ” Perhaps we should just do a song [a partnership with Flo Rida] and we are assured a number one!” Mollie King added : ” We would been number all week…
But number 3 is still extraordinary. If we had not known the midweeks all week and they’d announced number 3 we would’ve been over the moon.” Flo Rida this week offered to work with The Saturdays.
