Pregnancy
Pregnancy is a beginning of a life. It is a beautiful period that signals a fresh start for the whole family. It excites not only you and your partner but your friends and relatives as well. It means so much that you are carrying your child in your womb.
Women experience changes physically and emotionally when pregnant. Weight issues, food cravings, swelling of hands and feet, nausea, etc. Some become too emotional because of hormonal changes. And the fact that there is life inside them, they feel overwhelmed. They are anxious with all sorts of questions wanting only what’s best for their baby, hoping that everything would turn out well, that the baby’s healthy.
Expectant mothers, as we all know go through different stages of pregnancy. The first trimester is the most critical period. This is the stage when the baby is still forming and the mother is feeling always tired and sick or experiencing discomfort. Going to the second trimester, the baby continues to grow and now has a face, strong heartbeat and develops organs. The third trimester signals that you are now going to give birth soon, you start to prepare for the big day. Do some walking and light exercise to aid delivery and of course, maintain your healthy diet of fruits and vegetables. It’s a mixture of different kinds of emotions. There’s so much joy and happiness because your baby is on his way and you can’t wait to finally see and hug your most precious one.
